Welcome
It is a pleasure to have you on this site.
There's not much to see yet, but behind the scenes we're working hard to change that.
Newswhyre was born on 1/1/2011 out of love for journalism and trust in readers.
Its business case is that enough people will care about truth and understanding to make it worthwhile – in all senses of the word – to produce quality journalism on the web.
Expect stories here answering questions that occur to you as you are reading the news elsewhere. Questions that, for whatever reason, your favorite news sources aren't dealing with.
And if you don't find your question here either: ask it! Feeding us with questions is one of the ways you can reward Newswhyre for doing its job. Once the site is rolling, a contact form will be available.
Sending us your criticism, pointing out factual errors or sins against the English language, is of great benefit to us as well.
And if you can't think of any other way to help – you may pay us... Learn about Flattr here , it's a clever and fun way to reward web sites that you like with just one click. A Flattr button will be added to this site once we feel we deserve it.
